It’s not often that we make the recommendation to readers that they take a pass on buying our favorite new smartphone. And make no mistake about it, Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9 is by far our favorite new smartphone. In fact, it will probably be our favorite Android phone of 2018 when all is said and done, because nothing set to be released in the coming months looks better. Yes, that includes the upcoming Google Pixel 3 XL, since we’re having trouble getting past that massive notch that doesn’t even facilitate enhanced 3D facial recognition. The “pure” Android experience is great and we’re sure Google’s Pixel 3 line will be terrific, but a recent leak suggests Samsung is working hard to take advantage of Project Treble and  release Android updates more quickly . Recently, WhatsApp and Google teamed up to facilitate users in free chat backups. However, this free  new WhatsApp backup  also came with a drawback that breaks end-to-end encryption and anyone can access your chat. WhatsApp’s end-to-end encryption means that every message you sent and receive is secured and cannot be read by anyone other than the sender and receiver. The chats on the phone are still protected but backups are not and anyone can see the texts and images being sent and received. Akshay Kumar, Mouni Roy-starrer  Gold , on Friday, became the first Bollywood film to release in Saudi Arabia. The film, based on 1948 London Olympics, is the second movie after Rajinikanth’s hit social drama,  Kaala  to hit the theatres in the Gulf country, reported  The Indian Express . After decades, Saudi Arabia’s first new cinema to open on April 18 Akshay recently took to Twitter to share the news. “The story of India’s first Gold medal victory for the first time in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The world’s largest bitcoin mining pool is preparing to expand its horizons. BTC.com, which produced 21 percent of all newly-mined BTC over the past 12 months and currently accounts for more than 16 percent of the bitcoin hashrate, announced on Thursday that it has opened an ethereum mining pool. The pool will initially support both ethereum and ethereumn classic, and users will have the ability to shift between the two Ethash-based cryptocurrencies to enhance profitability. “Because contracts are charged per line of executed code and miners are rewarded for dedicated hashes using GHOST, Ethereum provides multiple different reward incentives to contribute hash power to the network,” said Zhuang Zhong, director of BTC.com’s mining pool. “We hope to expand Ethereum’s network by relaying those rewards through our FPPS system.
